What a fun find! I was at Barnes 1956-60 & a head girl. It was Mrs Walters who recognised tha I had suffered 3 school changes in as many terms and let me stay put when the family moved out of the catchment area.I remember Miss White - always immaculately dressed. Mrs Appleyard let me repeat my history GCS 3 times! (It was not until the 1990's that I was positively diagnosed with dyslexia.) This small school set me up for a varied nursing career Thanks to all the teachers
