BOGS 11^th REUNION - 2012

The girls of Barnes County Secondary School were back in town for the 11^th reunion of Barnes Old Girls (fondly known as BOGs).

Over 30 ex-students met in The Bulls Head, Barnes on Saturday, 18^th August for their annual gathering. An afternoon of eating, drinking and socialising was enjoyed, and the 12^th reunion will soon be in the planning.

BARNES SOCIETY DAY
12^th May 2012

We had a very good time at the Barnes Societies Day on Saturday the 12^th May 2012 at the Old Sorting Office in Barnes. We enjoyed meeting up with members, going through old school photos and promoting BOGs to visitors to the stall.

Reunion 2011

The venue for the 2011 Reunion was the Old Sorting Office on Barnes Common,
44 Bogs were expected which included two teachers - Cristina White And Marriane Cox (Curette). There was an Open Bar and plenty of delicious food from the sumptuous buffet. The day was rounded off with an Elvis Tribute Singer and a Grand Raffle. A very successful reunion was enjoyed by all.

Reunion 2010

Although the weather was changeable (it rained cats and dogs at times) the ninth Bogs reunion was a great success. There were over 40 Bogs including the following teachers: - Cristina White, Patricia Stevens, Jane Clark and Ann Fordyce

ON SATURDAY 14^th JULY 2007 WE HAD A STAND AT BARNES FAIR IN ORDER TO PROMOTE BOGS MEET OLD SCHOOL FRIENDS AND SIGN UP NEW MEMBERS.

Our main attraction was a very successful Lucky Dip, and Guess the number of sweets in a jar.
